What is the best way to go about removing fradualent information from credit report?

According to SprintPCS, I created an account in March 2007 and it has been passed due for $300+ since May. The problem is I never had a SprintPCS account. I already put it through investigation but according to all bureaus, the investigation was closed and the information remained on my report.

I'm kind of tentative to calling the collecting agency. What should I do?What is the best way to go about removing fradualent information from credit report?First of all, never call collection agencies. If you are serious about getting any results from them you should communicate in writing (via certified mail). Your credit report has CA contact information. You need to write a dispute letter to them requesting this debt validation. If they cannot validate the debt it cannot be reported on your credit reports. Anyway, the process is relatively complicated and involves a lot of steps. You can read a complete step by step instruction at

You need to use properly worded dispute letters to have this crap removed. Don't pay a service to do it either since it is 1 collection. Check out www.creditrepair101site.com Their guidance and letters will lead you where you want to go. Good luck.
