Does the nutriton information for homemade greek yogurt differ from the yogurt you start with?
I make greek yogurt by putting yogurt (140 calories a cup) into a wave yogurt strainer and letting the water drain out for like 3 hours. I add a little water back in at the end because I like it creamier with a little water mixed in. Does the nutrition information from the start yogurt change at all in the finished product?Does the nutriton information for homemade greek yogurt differ from the yogurt you start with? The liquid you drain off is called "whey". Whey contains mainly carbs but it also has many health promoting benefits.
