Where can I find information on storage auctions in Houston TX?

Does anyone know where I can find the locations, dates and times of storage auctions in the Houston area. Are there any good websites that display this information?Where can I find information on storage auctions in Houston TX?There are several sources for storage auction information in Houston. These sources include newspapers (Large, local %26amp; business), websites for the newspapers, storage auction websites (National %26amp; Local) and the auctioneer's personal websites.

The newspapers are a great way to find public notices but it's a hassle to organize all of the information, dates, times, locations, etc. and, in Houston, we have over 40 smaller local newspapers
and it is impossible to subscribe to and read all of them.

There is a major business newspaper in Houston which lists a majority of the public notices filed in Harris County, but it neglects to list auctions from more than half of all storage facilities in the greater Houston %26amp; surrounding areas. Plus, most of the auctions that it advertises are swarmed with new buyers due to the popularity of the new television shows Storage Wars %26amp; Auction Hunters.

There are 3 auctioneers in our area that handle the publicly traded storage facility auctions and a hand full of others. You can find them by searching Google for auctioneers in Houston. Keep in mind, their websites only list the auctions that they are conducting.

There are several storage auction websites that you can get your information from., Auctionzip.com is okay, but since it is a national website it misses most of the auctions in our area. The DCR is okay if you want to attend auctions with a hundred or more people there. Also there are several larger national national pay sites that list about half of all auctions in our area, but they are basically
reselling information you can get for free.

I recommend www.houstonstorageauctions.com, it is the only website that is local and covers 100% of all auctions occurring in the greater Houston and surrounding areas. No other website covers more than half. What makes this this information source really different is that it lists all of the hard to find auctions that are advertised in smaller local papers. Typically, the storage facilities that advertise in smaller local papers don't have a lot of people attending their event and where there is less competition it increases your chances of buying a quality storage unit at a good price.
