i have a kenworth t600 and it has low fuel pressure and i need to fix it, but i want to do it myself, i just need to know where to find information on or about this problem. please help me!!Im trying to find information on how to fix a low fuel pressure problem in a caterpillar engine?Ok here is somethings to check first
#1 The filter is a good source for low fuel pressure.
If it is stopted up or is cloged it will cause this affect.
If you can't remember when it was changed last, change it now.
#2 The fuel pressure regulator is another. This regulator is what controlls the pressure to the injuctore, It to is a good source for low pressure.
#3 The pump itself. If the pump has a lot of miles on it , it to can cause low pressure.
