Alright now before I tell my situation I know it was wrong I have learned my lesson and Im going to counseling and am grounded for life. Im sixteen years old and I was having sex with a 27 year old man from the middle of August to about the second week in December. Well to make a long story short thats illegal in the state of New York because the legal age of consent is 17. I kept it secret for a very long time I ended up telling my sister because I thought i caught something, She forced me to tell the police, this case is in the middle of being investigated. He is denying everything that we have ever had sex before. They have basically no evidence to catch him. The only thing they have is a skype conversation we had a while back that was a little sexual. They took my phone because I told them that there were pictures on my phone he took of us being intimate, but I deleted those photos a while back but they said with there computer technology in there police labs they can track it down. They took his computer also because he put me online on a live web chat ( I know wtf was I thinking?!) They couldn't track that down or find anything as evidence to prove anything. The detective is telling me that he wont be going to jail, and he said he doesn't even know if he will be a registered sex offender because at this point they have nothing to prove anything. The case is still in the middle of being investigated. So do you think anything even gonna happen to him? Or is this whole case just a waste of my time?Sex?????????????????Waste of your time? Child porn and sex offender cases are job security for police and prosecutors- they'll check the computers hard drives and whatever else- anything turns up the plea offer will be reduced felony and SO registry. Defense may say you were a prostitute and get away with paying fine. Illinois law had age of 14 and believed to be a prostitute minor loophole- got a couple people off light with that. Get your STD check done and behave a year-Sex?????????????????
A waste of your time? I'd say it is a waste of the Police's time. They are very good at getting the evidence they need one way or another. Nothing can be be completed deleted. It can always be retrieved.Sex?????????????????ugh. i can't even think of anything to say to uSex?????????????????

You should go listen to the song Strawberry wine by Deanna Carter!!! Just do your best to figure it out... Do not meet up in places where there are security cameras.... You could destroy ur phone, but they can always see online..... I dunno what to tell ya just try and muddle through it... It will be okay though.. times unravels and heals everything
