What does it mean to explain "the effectiveness of the methods to capture customer information"?

I know what the methods are to capture customer information and I've written about the use of cookies. However, how do I describe the effectiveness? What do you think I need to say? Thanks.What does it mean to explain "the effectiveness of the methods to capture customer information"?If you want to measure effectiveness you first need to establish what the aim of the campaign is. In other words, how well did the campaign do against its objectives?



For example, if the aim was to get age information for 80% of customers and you actual got 70%, I'd say the campaign was pretty effective.What does it mean to explain "the effectiveness of the methods to capture customer information"?Does it tell us really, what the customer wants.
