How do I analyse information and in turn write a history essay?

I have a lot of infomation for my history essay about a certain topic, but I don't know how to write about it. I have plenty of facts (which I will reference and use footnotes for etc) but history essays arent supposed to be just a long list of facts, right? What else do i write about, what else do I need to say? I think I need to analyse the information, but how do I do that? How do I change it into an essay? ThanksHow do I analyse information and in turn write a history essay? You should first create an outline so you know where all your info should go in the essay.
